Montreal welcomes the Workplace of the Future

A digital wall welcomes you to La Tour Deloitte.

With the opening of La Tour Deloitte in Montreal, we have reached a milestone in our Workplace of the Future program. La Tour Deloitte, our newest Workplace of the Future office, represents a major shift in the way we work, putting people first to drive connections, flexibility, collaboration, innovation and inclusion. On July 20, after much anticipation, our Montreal teams took their first steps into their workplace of the future.
"Workplace of the Future is a tremendous step forward for Deloitte and I could not be more pleased with the opening of La Tour Deloitte in Montreal," says Marc Perron, Managing Partner, Quebec. "The best part of this day, for me, has been seeing the reactions of our people as they see the new space. Everyone is incredibly energized to be here."
After just a few days at La Tour Deloitte, our people are starting to feel at home. Our workplace is so new and different that many people believe it's a bit like starting a new job!
“I'm proud to make people happy thanks to this innovative, new environment,” adds La Tour Deloitte Project Manager Sylvie Flanagan. “It's very gratifying to see the smiles on their faces.”
The Workplace of the Future program is not just a move, it’s a whole new work experience for our people that is enabled by choice and agility. For his second day at La Tour Deloitte, Human Capital Consulting Manager, Serge Roy, selected a seat on the sixth floor.

The atrium staircase is a striking and branded design element.

"I'm a design fan, and I think that everything was really tastefully done, very carefully thought out,” says Serge. “It's a much more functional space, and if you ask me, this is going to change how we work. Our practices can't help but change for the better now."
La Tour Deloitte is a model of cooperation and innovation for both our people and clients across Quebec, especially with Montreal’s own Deloitte Greenhouse. “We believe that the transformations occurring in the business landscape will require a new approach to solving our clients’ most pressing issues. Greenhouse sessions are carefully designed to review assumptions, introduce new opportunities and accelerate discovery,” says Kendra MacDonald, ERS partner and co-leader of the Deloitte Greenhouse in Montreal.
During the week of August 31, the Deloitte Greenhouse opened its doors in Montreal. Located on the fifth floor of the brand new La Tour Deloitte, it’s the twenty-second Greenhouse to open worldwide since the launch of the first one in Toronto two years ago. Covering 3,000 square feet, the Montreal Greenhouse is the largest in Canada.
“With the opening of the Deloitte Greenhouse at La Tour Deloitte, we’re making our mark in the Montreal business community and distinguishing ourselves from the competition as an innovative firm,” Marc Perron adds.
Soon, we’ll bring this same spirit of innovation to our clients and staff in Toronto at Bay Adelaide East.
